About Summer Rec Soccer
Ages
PVUFC Recreational Soccer is open to all players Pre-K - 6th grade based on 2023-2024 school grade (the current grade they are in!).

For Pre-K & K, 1st & 2nd-grade programs, families can self-select North or South location.
Practice & Game Format
Pre-K/K:
1 contact per week
25 minutes of skills training led by PVUFC trainers.
30 minutes of game led by parent coaches
1st/2nd
2 contacts per week (1 practice & 1 game)
Practices: 1 night per week. 30 minutes of skills training led by PVUFC trainers, 30 minutes led by parent coaches.
Games: 1 night per week. Led by parent coaches.
3rd/4th & 5th/6th
2 contact per week (1 practice & 1 game)
All practices and games are led by volunteer parent coaches.
GAME INFO:
Pre-K/K - 4v4* on 1 field
1st/2nd - 4v4* on 1 field
3rd/4th - 7v7 (6v6 + keeper) 1 field.
5th/6th - 7v7 (6v6 + keeper) 1 field.

Schedule Overview
The Summer season is a 9-week season that runs from mid-May to Mid-July.

9 week season (9 weeks of 1 training/game at U6 and 1 game and 1 practice per week at U8-U12)

Practices & Games are on weeknights between 5pm-8pm and are 1 hour in length.

The practice night for 3rd/4th and 5th/6th graders will be determined by the volunteer parent coach once the season begins to accommodate the availability of the team members.
THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS MONDAY, MAY 12
**If a game is canceled due to weather, it will not be made up.

Team space will be limited, and friend requests are not guaranteed after May 1. The price will also increase by $25.00 for all age groups due to a late fee.
Note: You should register your child based on their grade for the 2024-2025 school year. Register your child for the Pre-Kindergarten / Kindergarten age group if they were entering Kindergarten in September 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year.
*Note: Pricing does not include uniforms. The Uniform fee is $35.
2025 Recreational Jamboree
We are excited to have everyone at Louisiana Oaks Park on Friday, July 18 for the Rec Jamboree! We will have food trucks, inflatable soccer fields, and games galore!
PARKING: Please try to carpool as much as you can because the parking is quite limited at Louisiana Oaks! We do not recommend parking on the grass, as tickets are likely to be handed out!
Rec Coaching
All practices and games will be led by volunteer parent coaches. Our PreK/K and 1st/2nd grade programs will have PVUFC trainers working with the teams for a portion of the practice nights.
If you are interested in coaching, please check the appropriate box on your child's registration form. We are always looking for coaches who enjoy working with kids. Previous soccer experience is not needed. We provide training and coaching education. You must fill out a background check through our website before you can coach.
